This policy covers datacenterbriefing.com and the emails Data Center Briefing sends. The publisher and data controller is Substrate Media LLC.

What we collect

When you subscribe or register for a webinar we collect your email address and, if you give it, your name and company. We record which page you signed up on and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, so we can tell paid traffic from organic. When you send a sponsor inquiry we keep the message.

On the site we use PostHog for product analytics with autocapture off; we record page views and a short list of named events (signup, webinar registration, sponsor link clicks). We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure advertising. Both set cookies. Neither is loaded until its configuration is present.

How we use it

To send the daily briefing and any webinar you registered for, including reminders and the replay. To tag your record with the briefing or sponsor you registered through, so we can report attendance to that sponsor in aggregate. To measure which pages and campaigns work. We do not sell your data and we do not share registrant lists with sponsors.

Who processes it

Email, forms, and contact records: GoHighLevel. Analytics: PostHog. Advertising measurement: Meta. Hosting: Vercel. Each processes data on our instructions under its own terms.

Your choices

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. To have your record deleted or exported, reply to any issue of the daily and we will do it within 30 days. Browser settings and Meta's ad preferences control the pixel.

Changes

We will note the date at the top of this page when it changes. Sponsored content rules are on the disclosures page.
